The Edit: Glitter Picks For New Year

Everyone around me seems to be getting ready to head down and party the end of 2013 while I pack everything up to drive up to my extended family to have a chill start into the new year. Even though I am not getting dolled up I still seem to be picking out those shimmer and glitter eye products to wear from my collection.

The Pigment: Pigments are always perfect for sprucing up any make-up look, wither you’re going to pop it on your eyes, inner corner, highlight or blush they’ll look perfect. I have been using this MAC Pink Bronze Pigment all over my lid to add sparkle to a smokey eye. This pigment is the perfect Rose Gold Brown and looks amazing swept all over the eye. When using pigments, you have to remember the color is going to be very intense as the product contains no fillers.

The Travel Friendly Shadow: This Bare Minerals High Shine Eye Colour has me thinking a lot. Is it a pigment? Shadow? Cream product? If you have tried this product out then you know exactly what I am going on about. These High Shiner Eye Colours are loose pigments in a bottle withe the perfect applicator for the job, giving you perfect pigment pay off on your eyes but with a cream based finish. Confusing much? No matter what hybrid product Bare Minerals have got my loving, this is perfect for travelling as you have minimal chance of accidents (and by that I mean spillage), It’s a small product so won’t take up much room and also it is just the best mutli-purpose product going.

The Palette: Since I bought this Dior Palette back in the beginning of November I haven’t been able to stop using it to make me feel like a million dollars. I think with make-up sometimes, not always, you do really pay for what you get and this eye shadow palette doesn’t let you down. The colour pay off is outstanding, the range and shades compliment each other perfectly and well they make you feel beautiful inside and out.I have been using this crystal, ice shade in my inner corner for a pop and the beautiful gold shade dabbed in the middle of my lid for that accent.

So it doesn’t matter if you’re partying the new year away, or having a relaxing take on the years events you can still look glam wherever you are.
